Active Businesses Gloucestershire is a new employer led group based on the model developed by North Bristol SusCom in South Gloucestershire.
Our mission is to reduce the number of car journeys in the county by encouraging people to use sustainable transport whilst being more active. At the same time, we want to drive system level changes through leadership, strategy and campaigning.

Active Businesses Gloucesterhire has the following objectives:
- To raise awareness of the positive impact of making sustainable travel choices
- To increase the choices of sustainable travel options for employees
- To help employees undertake journeys by active travel or public transport
- To do our bit, as businesses, to address congestion, poor air quality and the health of our workforce commuting and undertaking business travel
